What is Halvo, in one sentence?
An independent financial read on your trial, built from the documents your CRO already sends, with every claim traced to the cell or clause it came from.
Does Halvo do change order management?
Yes. It’s the center of the product. Halvo reads every change order against the contract, the budget, and the work actually done, prices the difference, and drafts the response. You decide what goes back to the CRO.
Does an AI produce the numbers?
No. Every dollar is computed in code from the numbers read out of your documents, never written by a model. The AI reads, classifies and explains; it never makes up a figure. That boundary is enforced in the architecture, not in a policy document.
What do we need to give you?
The documents you already have: MSA, budget grid, change orders, invoices. Drop them in, or forward the email. No integration, no data entry.
How fast is first value?
Within the first session. On our demo study, Halvo flagged the monitoring budget as understated before setup finished: 120 contracted visit days against the roughly 188 the protocol implies, a $125,800 exposure held and tracked from day one.
Will this hurt our CRO relationship?
A challenge is citations and arithmetic, not an accusation. Most gaps are honest errors, and evidence keeps the conversation short and professional. Nothing is sent without your confirmation, and you control the tone.
Does it connect to our EDC or CTMS?
Not yet. Halvo runs entirely on documents today, deliberately, since that’s the fastest way to start. System connections are on the roadmap.
Is this an accounting or FP&A system?
No. Halvo doesn’t book entries, run your close, or replace your ERP or planning tools. It’s the independent check on the CRO’s numbers: the read your close and your forecast lean on.
Is our data safe?
Files are immutable and versioned, every action lands in an append-only audit trail, and nothing trains a model. Exportable any time.
